From developing state-of-the-art stations and improving timetables, to the introduction of new trains and an integrated transport brand, local decision-making is already having a positive impact on our region.
But there is more work to be done.
With greater local control, we can work together as a region to design and deliver a rail network that better connects our communities, drives growth and creates a greener future for all.
